Adu-Agyei Architects is an architecture and design practice founded and led by architect and creative director Dickson Adu-Agyei.

We approach architecture as a practice of making, thinking and storytelling — creating spaces that are rooted in place, responsive to people, and open to new ways of living. Our work moves between architecture, interiors, furniture, installations and visual storytelling, exploring how design can shape meaningful relationships between people, culture and the built environment.

Founded by Dickson Adu-Agyei, the practice is informed by his experience across architectural practice, education, research and creative production. His work brings together architectural thinking with an interest in narrative, materiality, African spatial practices and the ways in which buildings can communicate ideas and stories.

We believe architecture should be specific rather than generic. It should respond to its climate, culture, landscape and context while remaining contemporary and forward-looking. Rather than imposing a predetermined style, we develop each project through a process of observation, experimentation and dialogue — allowing the character of the place and the people who inhabit it to shape the work.

Our portfolio spans residential, multi-residential, hospitality, educational, mixed-use and cultural projects, alongside interior environments and a growing collection of furniture, lighting and installations. Across different scales, the ambition remains the same: to create work that is considered, expressive and enduring.

At Adu-Agyei Architects, we see design not simply as the production of buildings, but as a way of interpreting the world and imagining what it could become.
