Adu-Agyei Architects is an award-winning design practice working across Johannesburg, Accra and beyond. We create contemporary spaces and products shaped by place, climate, culture and story.
We approach design as a way of creating meaningful relationships between people, place, space and material. Our work is grounded in its context, experienced through the body, and made meaningful through the memories and connections it gathers over time.We are interested in the spaces between things — between inside and outside, landscape and building, object and hand — and in how these relationships shape the way we experience the world.
From the scale of a building to the intimacy of an object, we seek to create work that is considered, tactile and enduring: architecture that holds memory, spaces that move you.
